The Royal Navy is sending a nuclear submarine to the Falkland Islands amid heightened tensions between Britain and Argentina over the disputed islands, it has been reported.
Thousands join anti-Putin protests (09:08)
Thousands of Russians are taking to the streets of Moscow to demand an end to prime minister Vladimir Putin's rule, challenging his bid to reclaim the presidency in March.
Afghan civilian deaths at record (07:49)
Last year was the deadliest on record for Afghan civilians, a UN report said, with 3,021 killed in the war.
