Six die in retirement home blaze

A fire at a retirement home in the southern Spanish city of Seville has killed six people and injured 12, according to a regional government official.
Micaela Navarro, social welfare councillor for the government, said 13 people were rescued unhurt from the three-floor house in central Seville.
The fire broke out around midnight on Monday in an upstairs room.
The injured are being treated at the city's Virgen del Rocio hospital.
