HAVING wowed Cork audiences at last year's Live at the Marquee festival Waterford-born singer Gilbert O'Sullivan is set to return to the city for a gig at the Opera House on Monday, March 22.
As well as including many of his well-known songs including Get Down, Clair, Nothing Rhymed and Alone Again ( Naturally), O'Sullivan will also perform tracks from his upcoming new album Mum's the Word due out next month.
Tickets for the Cork gig, part of O'Sullivan's six-date Irish tour, cost € 36.50 from the Opera House box office on (021) 4270022.
ONE of the most exciting bands to have emerged from the vibrant Dublin music scene in recent years, Codes, will play Cork's Cyprus Avenue on Friday, February 26.

AMERICAN rock funksters the Fun Lovin' Criminals will play a gig at the Curtis Auditorium in the Cork School of Music at 8pm on Thursday, April 1.
