TV3 offers up the second part of the documentary charting the final days of the 140-year-old St Patrick's Marymount Hospice in Cork, the oldest centre of its kind in Ireland. There isn't a dry eye in the house as staff say goodbye to the hospice and prepare to start work at a new purpose-built hospital, while patients and their families also contemplate their future as they get ready to move to the new facility. It's an examination of the changing face of medical and respite care, shot through with genuine warmth and humanity, and a fitting tribute to a place that has made trying times tolerable for generations.
