THE regular customer of the local takes in all kinds, from true characters to the customer who just calls for a drink and a chat.
The character comes in all shapes and make-up, from the one who will sing a song for you at any time of the day, to the one who will have a story for you about every aspect of life, to the expert in everything (knows about everything and has the answer to everything).
Then you have the character who has a special place in the bar and who could get upset if someone else has taken his place.
The character that is on the wane is the historian who knew everyone in the community and who could trace a family and its roots back in time for the visitor or the person looking for someone who may have left the area.
All of these characters are an intrinsic part of the community and in this way are a very important part of the customers of the local.
