AROUND MALLOW: Circus joins St Patrick's parade

THE annual St Patrick's Day parade in Mallow offers much more colour this year and will have a distinctive circus feel. The parade will assemble in the town park at 1.45pm on Wednesday and will proceed through West End and Main Street at 2.30pm.
The parade will be led by the Thomas Davis Pipe Band and the Reserve Defence Force. This year members of the Courtney Circus Troupe will march in the parade. The circus itself performs in the Town Park later in the evening. The reviewing stand will be at Mallow Credit Union and the whole colourful display will be described by MC Michael O'Donovan.
