Christmas cookery demonstration at Kilcorney centre

KILCORNEY WOMEN'S RESOURCE GROUP will hold a Cookery Demonstration with a Christmas theme in the Kilcorney Social Centre on Monday night December 7 at 7.30pm.
Admission on the night is €3 and Raffle tickets will also be on sale. Please come along and pick up some useful tips for the season ahead. Everybody welcome.
On the following Monday night December 14 an evening of Christmas Floral Arrangements will be held. This will also commence at 7.30pm.
DROMTARIFFE PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF COPE FOUNDATION would like to thank everyone who supported their recent 24 Hour Fast which was an extremely successful fundraiser.
The cheque will be presented to Mr John Clifford of Cope Foundation and the 40th Anniversary of the Dromtariffe Branch will be commemorated on Wednesday December 16 at 8.30pm in the Fairfield Room in Dromtariffe Hall. All are welcome to come along on the evening.

Dancing for beginners will take place at the Kilcorney Social Centre on Wednesday nights at 8.30pm.
CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to Connie Keller from Loughlea, Banteer who won first prize for the best Higher Engineering Project in this year's Leaving Certificate. His project was to design a playground carousel.
Connie is a former student of Colaiste Treasa, Kanturk is now studying in UCC where he is undertaking a BA in Civil and Environmental Engineering. The community wish him the best of luck in his chosen career.
SYMPATHY: Sincere Sympathy is extended to the family of the late Johnny O'Keeffe, Killetra, Dromagh. He is deeply regretted by his wife Margaret, sons Michael and John, daughters Mairead and Helen, grandchildren, extended family relatives and friends.
Burial took place following requiem Mass in the Church of the Presentation, Derrinagree to St Mary's Cemetery Millstreet. Johnny will be solely missed in the Community where he was a very active G.A.A. supporter and was also very involved in the local I.F.A. May he rest in peace.

She is deeply regretted by her daughters Elizabeth and Margaret, son Denis, grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.
