DROMTARIFFE ANNUAL BAZARR: Dromtariffe Annual Bazaar takes place on this Sunday November 29 in the Community Centre between 2 and 5pm in aid of Derrinagree, Dromagh and Rathcoole National Schools. Fun day for all the family. Everybody welcome.
DROMTARIFFE JUNIOR GAA: Dromtariffe Junior GAA Club will hold its AGM in the Club Rooms on Sunday November 29th at 7pm sharp. The club will review all activities both on and off the field and all members and intending members are invited to attend.
DAY TRIP TO LIMERICK: Day trip to Limerick on December 9th comprising of a Guided tour of Thomond Park, a guided tour of The Hunt Museum and Jewellery exhibition, Lunch will also be available there at a cost of €10.50 for main course and desert. A tour of Limerick City where you will see King John's Castle. The famous Treaty Stone, and many more historical and interesting sites. BOWLING RESULTS: Bog Road: Jerry Murphy (Ballyclough) beat Donie O Mahony (City) for the last shot (€900), Humphrey Morrissey ( City) beat Billy O Sullivan (Mallow) for the last shot (€600), Jerry Murphy, Ballyclough grasped a last shot victory over City man Donie O Mahony in a score played at the Bog Road. Murphy rose a bowl of odds in the early stages.
However, O'Mahony made his presence felt near the finish with a brilliant shot to knock the bowl and take a lead of 40 metres. But Murphy's last shot was a record effort. O Mahony's reply was good, but his bowl fell short of Murphy's tip by 20 metres.
