Dromtariffe face Lyre in final

DROMTARIFFE GAA: Best wishes to our junior A footballers in the Ducon cup final where they face Lyre in Millstreet tomorrow night, Friday at 8pm.

DROMTARIFFE U12 LADIES FOOTBALL RESULT: Dromtariffe 6-4 Kanturk 2-6

SYMPATHY: Sympathy is extended to the family of the late Margaret (Rita) Daly, Coolclough Kanturk. She is deeply regretted by her family Louis, Desmond Cormac and Marian, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grand children, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Burial took place following requiem Mass in St John's Church Dromagh to Dromtariffe Old Cemetery. May she rest in peace.

Sympathy is extended to the family of the late Mary Twomey Killetra Dromagh, She is deeply regretted by her son Timmy, sister Julian, brother Con, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Burial took place following requiem Mass in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Derrinagree to St Mary's Cemetery Millstreet. May she rest in peace.

CONNY'S TACK SHOP: Connyís Tack Shop would like to announce that in addition to our Equestrian Catalogue we now have available farm products from Mullinahone Co-op on order. Open hours on Monday to Friday 1pm to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Club Results: Kilcorney: John Creedon (Gaeltacht) beat Edmund Sexton (Nadd) for the last shot (€3,100)

Paul Burke (Berrings) beat Danny Murphy (Kilcorney) by a bowl of odds. (€740)

Derry Cooney (Kilcorney) beat Mark Sheehan (Coachford) by a bowl of odds (€1060)

Derry Cooney / Danny Murphy beat Mark Sheehan / Anthony Sheehan by a bowl of odds (€1260).

John Creedon (Gaeltacht) produced record bowling to record almost a bowl of odds win over Edmund Sexton Nadd in a tightly contested score at Kilcorney.

They were both out to the Bridge in 5 throws each with Creedon one meter in front. The Gaeltacht man was up to Cullinanes Bunglow in three more to take a 30 metre lead.

Sexton tried to break the deadlock with a brilliant shot on the long straight but Creedon beat the tip by 40 metres. Creedon widened the gap to almost a bowl ofodds with his 11th effort apast Healys. He kept his lead intact to take his place on the winners podium.

Kiera Buckley, Ballyclough captured the North East u-16 ladies championship final at the expense of Jennifer Connolly of Glanmire in a score played at Ballyclough. The score was on level terms in the opening three shots. Buckley made her move up the hill to rise a bowl of odds. Connolly made a comeback near the finish but the local girl kept her head to keep her lead to the finish line.

DROMTARIFFE GAA LOTTO DRAW RESULTS: Winning Numbers were 9,12,25 and 31the jackpot fo €11,800 was not won.

€50 went to Mick Daly c/o The Sandpit and the seller was the Sandpit House.
