In a 4-4 thrilling draw Kanturk were three goals down after 25 minutes, but goals from John Dennehy and Tom Fitzgibbon made it 3-2 at half time. Five minutes into the second half Castleview scored a fourth goal but again Kanturk came back strong and goals from Tom Fitzgibbon and Mattie O'Riordan secured a precious point for Kanturk, which could be very important by the end of the season.
