LADIES FOOTBALL: The Ladies Football Club are holding a table quiz at Billy Murphy's Bar on Friday March 19 with teams of 4. Entry is €40. Start 9.30pm. Players please note that U13 and Junior training commence this week.
ST. PATRICK'S DAY: The Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade takes place after the 11am Mass commencing at Super Value and proceeding to the Pearse Memorial Hall where one and all will be treated to a host of entertainment from all age groups.
This year the parade will be led by the All Ireland Champion Musicians which will add a new flavour to the parade. As usual shamrock will be distributed free of charge at the Church grounds before Mass, so dust off your hat and get ready for a special day.
MOTHER'S DAY: Don't forget this Sunday March 14 is Mothers Day. In conjunction with same the Secret Garden are inviting both girls and boys aged 5yrs to 12yrs to the centre on Saturday at 11-12 noon to participate in a workshop where you can make your own Mother's Day floral bouquet.
The cost including refreshments is €15 so go along and make that something special. On Sunday all Mothers will be treated as they should be with cream tea and a wide range of gifts. 'Happy Mothers Day'.
