CONGRATULATIONS to Charleville CBS Secondary school teacher Laura Hennebry who played Maggie Jones in the Limerick Cecilian Musical Society's 90th production of the American musical, 42nd Street.
The glittering production was staged by the amateur society at the UL Concert Hall over last week and attracted capacity houses on each night of the run.
Ms Hennebry is a native of Galbally, Co. Limerick and this was her debut performance with the Limerick city based musical society. Previously she appeared in 'A Class Act' in 2005, 'Once on this Island' in 2006, while a student at Mary Immaculate College, from where she graduated with a B.A. Degree in music and geography. She then took a masters degree in Community Music at the University of Limerick.
