CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to Mary Coleman and Maria Walsh who were part of the UL team who on the Ashbourne Shield on Sunday last which was hosted by CIT. GAA LOTTO DRAW: The GAA Lotto Draw was held at the Bridge Bar. Numbers drawn were 9, 32, 39.
There was no winner of the jackpot. €50 Lucky Dip Winners were; Michael Copps, Beechwood Drive, Ballyhea Promoter Michael Copps, Kieran Mortell, Liscarroll, Promoter John Mortell. €25 Lucky Dip Winners were Orla Ni Riain, Shinanagh, Ballyhea Promoter Bernie Daly, Trevor Kennedy, C/O Bridge Bar, Ballyhea Promoter Bridge Bar, Sean Crowley, Ardglass, Ballyhea Promoter Breda Crowley.

GAA NEWS: At the moment Ballyhea are training for their Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship tie against Newcestown. The game will take place in Ballyanly at a date to be fixed by the County Board. Newcestown have proved to be Ballyhea's bogey team in the Championship over the last few years. Hopefully the trend can be reversed this year. CAMOGIE NEWS: The Annual General Meeting of Ballyhea Camogie Club was held at the GAA Club Pavilion on Friday, February 12. The following Officers were elected for 2010: Chairman Ger O'Shea, Vice Chairperson Frances Killeen, Secretary Marie Harty, Assisted Secretary Mike Keogh, Treasurer Deirdre Dwane, Child Welfare Officer Mags McCarthy, P. R. O. Mike Keogh. Membership is now due. Fee is €20 per person, €50 per family of three or more. Forms are available at training. New members always welcome. BALLYHEA
PRESCHOOL: Ballyhea PreSchool are holding their annual coffee morning fundraiser in the Harp Bar on this Friday, March 5, from 10am to 12pm. All proceeds will go towards the PreSchool. Your support and generosity would be very much appreciated.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP: The deadline for Club Membership for the year 2010 is March 31. Adult Membership is €20, Juvenile and OAP membership is €10.

HELMETS: All players from every grade in hurling must wear helmets this season. This is compulsory for all teams. Any player who is not compliant with this rule will not be covered by insurance so please comply with the rule. SUMMER CAMPS: The Summer Camp dates for 2010 have been confirmed. It will take place from July 5-9, inclusive. More details will be given out closer to the time.
