NSAI awards for Danone and Barry Group
THE Mallow based Barry Group and Danone Baby Nutrition in Macroom have been become the latest Cork companies to be awarded with one of Ireland's most prestigious business accolades.
Both companies were this week grated coveted Excellence Though Business certification by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI).
The award recognises the key roles that both companies continue to play in supporting the Irish economic recovery through their consistently high operational procedures.
Between them the companies employ almost 600 people, generating millions of euro annually for the Irish economy.
Commenting on the award, Barry Group managing director Jim Barry said it signified their strength as a company "and ultimately as a team".
"Excellence Through People parallels The Barry Group's approach of believing strongly in the importance of our staff," he added.
