Pit bull terrier had no muzzle on street

A MALLOW man has been fined €250 for having an unmuzzled pit bull terrier on the street.
Garda Deirdre Barrett told Mallow District Court that she was on duty on May 25, 2009 at Ballydaheen when she observed Michael Relihan walking with his brother and an unmuzzled dog.
She spoke to Michael Relihan of 37 Gouldshill, Mallow, who said he was not aware that the dog should be muzzled. Inspector Senan Ryan said Mr Relihan had six previous public order offences.
