Prize sausages add extra banger to local economy

MULTI award winning Mitchelstown based Hodgins Sausages has been praised by the Small Firms Association (SFA) for its contribution to the local economy.
The company received a special citation at the recent National Small Business Awards for its outstanding contribution to the local economy and job creation.
They were one of 26 companies in six categories nominated for the prestigious 2010 awards. "This citation is a great tribute to our dedicated team of 30 employees who are as passionate about getting everything right as we are," said owner Mervyn Hodgins.
