FEBRUARY: The Camogie Club had reason to celebrate at a victory function hosted in the Wallis Arms Hotel on acknowledging a number of successes at juvenile and junior level, a win in the County Junior B Plate and a county u12 triumph in a blitz final. Paddy O'brien, whose mother Nellie hailed from Aubane, and a driving force behind the hugely popular Over 60s competition is named the Cork Person of the Year 2010.
