Walkers brave the weather on Mushera

AUBANE Social Club and friends from far and wide worked up an appetite on Christmas Day morning in their traditional trek up Mushera Mountain from St. John's Well.
Though there was a steady drizzle, the wind blew and some of the underfoot conditions were difficult, big numbers assembled for the event. Included in the diverse assembly was the 'horse petals' and the versatile Michael Lynch who made it to the top for the 150th time this year. The deserving beneficiary from this year's popular hosting is the upkeep St. John's Well.
