DIVISION 2 FL Araglin 1-19 Doneraile 0-4

Young supporters who turned out for the Cork v Clare hurling challange game at the official lights switching-on in Fermoy last Saturday night
ARAGLIN had their second big win in the Cavanagh's Fermoy Div. 2 FL when they easily accounted for Doneraile at Araglin on Saturday evening. The winners played some very good football and the issue was never in doubt.
Early points by Paddy Kenneally, Tom Lyons, Tom Kenneally and Vincent O'Donoghue ( 2) opened up a 5 point lead by the 13th minute. Jason O'Callaghan had two pointed frees for Doneraile but it was Araglin who held an interval lead 0-7 to 0-2.
The second half was again very similar with Araglin backs in great form and they used the short passing to great effect and their forwards created many chances. Doneraile had two points in this half by Paul and Garry Sweeney but there was no denying Araglin their second brace of points long before the final whistle.
The winners goal came from Tom Kenneally in the 49th minute. Best for Araglin Tom Kenneally, Tom Lyons, Vincent O'Donoghue, Dave Browne, and James Kearney. For a Doneraile side, minus some key players only Jason O'Callaghan, Ross Hunter and Garry Sweeney were up to the mark.
