Patrician Academy 1-12 Ballincollig Comm School 2-6 PATRICIAN Academy were deserving winners over Ballincollig Community School in the Cork Colleges Senior B FC final at Mahon on Friday. It was a highly entertaining game with Mallow even though well on top having to survive a late Ballincollig rally. Understandable scenes of joy were witnessed in Kanturk during 2011 as their Junior A footballers won the Cork County Junior Football title, beating Mitchelstown in the final. There was also success for the club at both the U-21 and minor levels, but it was the newly crowned junior football champions that led the way for this impressive Duhallow club.
