EYES fixed, jaws dropped the World watched while Tiger Woods spilled the beans. Woods was asking, nay begging, for the apology of his wife and family. Implicit in this was a plea for forgiveness from the public at large.

IT was a worthwhile trip to Lakeside this weekend for Cork with all three teams Juniors, Ladies and Gents emerging triumphant in the Munster Inter County Championships. Due to the pace of play and with the scoring updates it proved impossible to provide the normal regular features hence this review of all three competitions.
