Bonanza at Limerick for Mallow trainers and jockeys
MALLOW trainers and jockeys enjoyed a most successful trip to Limerick races on Wednesday last, where they won a total of three races. Doneraile, Mallow trainer John Joe Walsh continued his excellent winning strike rate at Limerick with Page Turner, which won the 2ml 6f maiden hurdle by 12 lengths under a wel-judged drive by 20- year old Francis Mccurtin from Fermoy, who was scoring his very first win on the track as a professional.
English double for Churchtown's Richard McLernon
CHURCHTOWN, Mallow jockey Richard Mclernon completed a quick double within 24 hours in England during the week.
Good Gowran Park win for Midleton's Donie Murphy
GENTLE Alice, trained at Welshtown, Midleton by Donie Murphy, scored a hugely impressive 11length win of the 2ml 4f handicap chase at the big Thyestes Chase meeting at Gowran Park last Thursday. Produced with precision timing two out by jockey DJ Bates, the 8year old went right away to win impressively from Tiernan's Terror.
Carrigtwohill double for Fermoy jockey Ciaran Fennessy
FERMOY amateur Ciaran Fennessy was in splendid winning form at Carrigtwohill point- to- point races on Sunday, where he was the only rider to score a well executed double during the afternoon.

KILWORTH jockey Martin Lane continues in splendid winning form in England.
Punchestown victories for local jockeys and Mallow trainer Nagle
YOUGHAL jockey Davy Russell, and Lisgoold champion jockey Paul Townend, were both in winning form at Punchestown races on Saturday. Russell won the 2ml 4f hurdle on 9/4 chance Ipsos de Berlais, for trainer Noel Meade and Gigginstown House Stud, by 61/2 lengths from Western Leader, while Townend sprang a shock 14/1 success with Paco Jack for Wicklow trainer Philip Rothwell in the 2ml 4f handicap hurdle.
Mallow trainers success at Killeagh point-to-point
LOMBARDSTOWN trainer Eugene O'sullivan, and his excellent amateur Brendan Crowley, combined to score a hugely impressive 12 length win with the Blarney Rose, which won the winners of two race, from Carrigeen Kariega at Killeagh point-to-point races on Sunday last.
Brilliant Sandown win for Coleman
INNISHANNON jockey Aidan Coleman, one of the very best national hunt jockeys performing in England at present, was seen at his brilliant best at Sandown races on Saturday.
Thurles win for Mallow trainer David Finn
CASTLETOWNROCHE, Mallow trainer David Finn recorded his first track success at Thurles races on Saturday, with his charge 8/1 chance Torremuelle, under a polished ride from the in form Ben Dalton.
