Limerick win for Mallow owners
HIDDEN Identity trained at Carrihtwohill by Terence O'brien, and owned jointly by Sean Leahy from Lacknamona, Mallow, and Ken Murray from Killeens, Blarney, won the concluding bumper at Limerick races on Wednesday, given a powerful drive by Katie Walsh. The heavily supported 6/1 to 9/4 clear favourite, travelled well into the straight, and taken to the front inside the final two furlongs, stayed on well, to win from Mini Vic.
On Thursday at Limerick, Castletownroche businessman Eddie Farrell visited the winners enclosure when his 10-year old, The Bosses Nephew, at 8/1, comfortably won the 2ml 6f handicap chase by six lengths under a fine drive by Eddie O'connell for Newmarket-on-fergus trainer John Brassil.
