Duhallow hurling committee is formed

Promoting hurling within Duhallow is central to the initiating of a new committee.
Huge work is being undertaken across the division at juvenile level in an effort to widen the games playing base and increase the standards and quality of coaching and play.
Challenges remain and the need to nourish the game at adult level remains a key strategic for the new committee.
Heading the group is divisional board development officer Tony McAulliffe assisted by a committee comprising Denis Carroll (Freemount), Pat Murphy (Banteer), Eugene O'Sullivan (Meelin), John McMahon (Tulllylease), Dan Joe Daly (Newmarket), Joe Kerins (Kanturk), Denis Lane (Millstreet), Joe Aherne (Lismire), Tom O'Reilly (Kilbrin), Frank Barry (Dromtariffe) and James Cott (Castlemasgner).
