Rovers secure final berth
U-21 B HC SEMI-FINAL
DONERAILE who fielded the bulk of their County JBHC winning side lost out to Harbour Rovers in the Under 21 B HC semi-final at Castletownroche on Sunday evening. It was high scoring game with Harbour Rovers in great form They had some outstanding players in Emmet Sheehan, Martin Roche, Alex Sheehan and Aidan Condon. Aidan Condon and Garry Sweeney exchanged an early goal that had Rovers 1-5 to 1-1 clear after 15 minutes.
Alex Sheehan found the net for the Glanworth side in the 25th minute that helped them to lead at the break 2-8 to 1-5. Entering the third quarter Alex Sheehan had a second goal and the Rovers were comfortably ahead. Garry Sweeney had a goal from a free and James O'Callaghan found the net in the closing moments. There was no denying Harbour Rovers their place in the final against Ballyclough this Saturday.
