Boherbee, Millstreet and Cullen into Munster Scór na nOg final

BOHERBEE, Millstreet and Cullen will be among the finalists at this year's Coiste na Mumhan Scór na nOg after they won through their semi-final on Sunday last.
The Coiste na Mumhan Scór na nOg semi-final at Ovens involved clubs from Cork, Kerry and Waterford and this very popular competition drew a huge attendance to the Cork venue.
The standard of competition was of the highest order and credit all competitors for the wonderful entertainment they provided. It was indeed a very successful evening for the Cork clubs who were participating in all eight catagories and when the adjudicators made their final decision, with two to go forward in each category, Cork got the verdict in all eight catagories.
Indeed, the evening was dominated by Cork and Kerry who shared the honours in all the events.
Boherbee will represent Cork in both Question Time and Set Dancing, while Cullen came through in the Novelty Act.
Millstreet are the representatives in Instrumental Music, while Figure Dancing went to Carrigaline.
Courcey Rovers are the Solo Singing representatives, Recitation went to Iveleary, while Ilen Rovers will compete in the Ballad Group category.
All the above clubs have now qualified for the Munster Finals which will be staged in the Mallow Youth Centre on Sunday January 31 commencing at 2.30pm.
