Junior rugby team faces year of great expectations
KANTURK Rugby Club's Junior 1 team finished 2011 in second place in the league and now face in to 2012 with great hope and expectations. However, they will not get complacent as they now face into the business end of the season when all teams will be upping their performances to ensure that they will be in the best position to compete for the big honours. The Junior 1 team will begin 2012 with an away game with Crosshaven on Sunday next, January 8. This is a fixture that was postponed in early December. Any game with Crosshaven is a tough encounter but it will be extra tough as all the teams are now trying to be the team that will try to bring Kanturk's great run of form to an end.
