Must win game for Kanturk
KANTURK will be in Tipperary next weekend as they prepare to face off against Waterpark in round 10 of the J1 Munster junior league.
After suffering a surprise loss last weekend, Kanturk will be desperate to stop any potential slide down the table with a victory in this one.
Waterpark sit sixth in the division and have proved to be no mugs this season with a 50 percent record so far
Kanturk will have to take the spoils in this one if they are to challenge for top honours come season's end.
The J2 sees both Mallow and Muskerry play at home this Sunday with both sides requiring a win for very different reasons.
Muskerry will be desperate to improve their position in the table when they entertain Castleisland.
A win would go a long way to securing their status in the division-while a loss could see them fall back into the bottom two.
Mallow will face off against their main title rivals St Mary's in what is sure to be the game of the day next Sunday.
The hosts sit top of the table just a single point above next weekend's challengers.
This is not an all or nothing clash but the result should show which of these two sides has what it takes to be champions.
Charleville are the only local side top take to the field this weekend as they face off against Douglas in the J3.
If Charleville have any serious hopes of promotion at the end of this campaign this has to be a must win game for them.
Douglas have home advantage in this tie but the superb ability that exists in the Charleville club has to come to the fore next Sunday as a loss is just not going to be good enough.
