ALL the criticisms you read of Arsenal in the wake of their defeat to Chelsea were spot on. They lack a midfield general, they're too tippy tappy, they lack penetration, they're too young ... etc etc. And yet and yet and yet... they're still in with a real shout of winning the title.
This has to go down as one of the weirdest Premier League seasons in quite some time. For sure Chelsea have led all the way, but for a team who've led all the way they don't convince. They lie just four clear of United (reeling from their hammering by Everton) and six ahead of Arsenal.
Arsenal are far from convincing, but this year it seems you don't have to be. In fairness to Arsenal they've been better able to deal with teams further down the table this year than they have been for a while and therein could lie the path to victory for Arsene Wenger's men.
Compared to the other two (who have to play each other as well as a Liverpool side on the up) Arsenal have a pretty easy run in on paper at least.
At 13/2 to win the title with some bookmakers it might be a punt worth taking.
